in8 Mobile was founded in 2007 by an experienced team of wireless, technology and media industry veterans with a common vision to help consumers easily find, use, purchase and share audio and visual content and services using mobile phones and devices. Their flagship recognition product, distributed by Rocket Mobile and marketed in the US by Verizon Wireless as V Cast Song ID, enables Verizon customers to quickly identify millions of songs, purchase and download ring tones and full audio tracks seamlessly to their mobile phones..
Project: Web site and content development
Challenge: Our challenge was to develop a Web site to convey the in8 Mobile message in a progressive, visually interactive way to consumers, partners and investors.
Solution: We chose to build a Flash-based site to enable us to incorporate strong video demonstrations of in8 Mobile products as well as sound effects and visual cues to enhance the user experience.
Result: A simple, white background creates a canvas for displaying the product demonstrations without distraction. By using the company's corporate colors of green, gray and black for navigation and text we reinforce the new brand image across the site. Also select sound effects integrated throughout the navigation increases the sensory experience of the user. The copy is concise, yet informative, to communicate the ease of use to consumers, as well as important technical details of the products for partners and investors.
